COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Founding in Duga Resa was founded in 1956.
In the begining, company manufactured spare
parts for textile industry, filters, drain traps, valves for
shipbuildings and engineering from grey cast iron, brass, bronze and
silumin. Production was manual and in hard conditions.
During the 1970's foundry was joined to Pamučna industrija Duga Resa. In
1979 investments were made in building a complete foundry which made
possible serial production. Machine moulding and quality sand
preparation increased production more times over from 70 to 700 tons per
year.
Since 1992, Ljevaonica Duga Resa is in private ownership and today it
employes 85 employees and has a yearly production of 920 tons of ductile
and grey cast iron products.

Ljevaonica Duga Resa incorporates pattern
shop, mechanical dressing, locksmith shop,
epoxy coating-surface protection and foundry, and has technological
possibilities for casting grey cast iron, ductile cast iron and cast
steel in series or individual castings.
Intensive investments in last several years in melting plant (induction
electro furnace),
automatic moulding lines, laboratory, CNC machining center and
electrostatic surface protection brought envious level of quality of
production from which 40% is being exported to EU.
In 2006, Ljevaonica became a majority owner
of Livnica Leskovac , which employes 230 employees, and cast 3000 tons of
grey cast iron per year but has
installed capacities for 6000 tons.
Preparations for adopting production of ductile cast iron have started.
Orientation on development and products quality resulted in continuous
increase of production and satisfaction of our business partners.
